Whenever Rona Ambrose has been called to serve as chair of the Conference of Parties, the governing body of United Nations climate change negotiations, she has gone missing. The following is her track record:
- In Bonn, Germany, when she was to chair a two-week meeting, she stayed for grand total of one day.
- In Switzerland for the follow up meeting. she stayed home in Ottawa and watched it on TV
- MIA in Mexico G8-plus-five meeting.
- the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change in Nairobi, where she was to pass the chairpersonship to the next host country, Ambrose did it electronically.
Remember this is our Environment Minister. Great job Rona.
